The Texas state capital Austin has become a hub for technology, entrepreneurship, music, outdoor recreation and nightlife. In bringing ICSE 2016, the premier conference in software engineering, back to Austin after a quarter-century, we would like to promote a harmonious blend among science, technology, art, and culture.
In the spirit of such harmony, the ICSE 2016 General Chair and Organizing Committee invite you to express your feeling regarding such opportunity by submitting an original video promoting ICSE in Austin, titled “Everything is Bigger in Texas.” Videos must not exceed 3 minutes in length and must be submitted from February 1 to April 1, 2015 (anywhere on Earth).
Please consult the video contest submission guidelines and the official rules before submitting your videos. Following submission of the videos, we will extend an invitation to the software engineering community to vote for their favorite videos.
We will select three finalists among the submitted videos based on public votes. The winner will then be selected from the three finalists by our video contest committee.
The winning video will become the official promotional video for ICSE 2016 and will be featured on the ICSE 2016 web site and on social media channels. The team submitting the winning video will receive either one complimentary regular registration for ICSE 2016's main conference or two complimentary student registrations.
All participants in the contest (who comply with the rules) will receive an ICSE 2016 T-shirt.
